Gambia’s transition: Expensive justice for a poor, little country
The Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission in the Gambia runs a 2,8 million dollars budget for 2019. It is part of a larger effort in transitional justice programs that costs a lot in this poor country. One of the surprising actors in this effort is Qatar, a country that has not been among the regular donors in this field up to now.
