The Lokman Slim Foundation was officially launched in Beirut on February 3 this year, exactly one year after the assassination of the Lebanese intellectual whose name it bears. This exceptional new research centre documents the numerous political assassinations that haunt Lebanon and the whole region, in line with the work of its namesake.
