Informed sources at the Tribunal said his indictment has not yet been confirmed, but he is likely to be charged with genocide and crimes against humanity for massacres of Tutsis in Gikongoro, southern Rwanda, during the 1994 genocide.\n<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p  >\nSimba was arrested on Tuesday in the Senegalese town of Thies. Simba was a retired army colonel who, when the genocide started in April 1994, was put in charge of \"civil defence\" forces in Gikongoro and Butare (southern Rwanda). He is said to be wanted in particular for the massacre of tens of thousands of Tutsis at the technical school of Murambi in Gikongoro in 1994.
