The arguments will be heard by Trial Chamber Two of ICTR from Wednesday August 27th to August 29th.\n<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p  >\nOn May this year when the case was adjourned the arguments were scheduled for August 19 th to 21st but the dates were later changed. Kamuhanda, aged 49, is charged with eight counts including genocide, complicity in genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, including rape and murder.  He has denied all charges. Kamuhanda has been already acquitted of one charge: conspiracy to commit genocide. The trial began in April 17th 2001, and lasted for 81 trial days divided into six sessions.  The prosecution called a total of 28 witnesses.  The prosecution closed its case on May 14th 2002. The defence closed its case on Thursday, May 8, 2003, after presenting a total of 36 witnesses.  It began its case on August 20th 2002. Aicha Conde of Guinea and Patricia Mongo of Congo Brazzaville represent Kamuhanda while Douglas Marks Moore of Ireland and Ibonukulu Babajide of Nigeria are prosecuting. The trial is before Trial Chamber II composed of Judges William Hussein Sekule of Tanzania (presiding), Arlette Ramaroson (Madagascar) Winston Churchill Matanzima Maqutu (Lesotho).
