The Prosecutor did not appeal this decision.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n&quot;There is notable progress in the consultations that are in progress&quot; between the administration of the ICTR and the Office of the High Commission for Refugees (HCR), indicated to the Hirondelle agency the spokesperson of the Tribunal, Roland Amoussouga. &quot;We await something tangible soon&quot;, added Amoussouga; specifying that the consultations are proceeding on the level of the technical teams of the two institutions.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAccording to Adama Dieng, the Registrar of the ICTR, the High Commissioner for Refugees promised, last March, &quot;to try to obtain relocalizations&quot; for the three men<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe task is complicated for the Registrar due to the statute of the Tribunal which explicitly mentions the obligation of the States to cooperate in the arrests of defendants, but does not, however, contain any provision for the acquitted.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe two other people acquitted by the ICTR to date, the former mayors Ignace Bagilishema and Jean Mpambara, were accommodated by France.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nER\/PB\/MM<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a9 Hirondelle News Agency<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Arusha, 6 June 2007 (FH) -
