In attendance will also be the French Secretary of State charged with human rights, Rowed Yade, and a representative of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF).\n<\/p>\n<p >\nSeveral important figures of international criminal justice will also be present, such as President and Prosecutor of ICTR, Justice Dennis Byron and&nbsp; Justice Hassan Bubacar Jallow respectively; Serge Brammertz,&nbsp; ICTY Prosecutor and Fatou Bensouda, Deputy&nbsp; Prosecutor of International Criminal Court (ICC).\n<\/p>\n<p >\nJustice Jallow is expected to present a paper on the experience of the ICTR in regards to the repression of rape.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe ICTR was the first to establish the jurisprudence according to which rape is now an act of genocide.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nOn the second and final day, it will be participation of victims of sexual violence in the legal process.\n<\/p>\n<p >\n&nbsp;ER\/MM\/SC\/GF\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&copy; Hirondelle News Agency<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arusha, 3 March 2009 (FH) -
