He has pleaded not guilty.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nIt is alleged that Nsengimana supervised the killings of ethnic Tutsis at the college, one of the most prestigious in Rwanda.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe prosecutor alleges that Nsengimana led &quot;death squad&quot; made up of employees of the College. The lead counsel for the prosecution, Wallace Kapaya, asked the court to give life jail to the accused in February, this year.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nNsengimana is one of the four catholic priests indicted by the ICTR.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nAthanase Seromba, a former vicar in Nyange, in western Rwanda, had his 15 year sentence overturned by the Appeals Court to life jail early this year. Emmanuel Rukundo, a former Military Chaplain was sentenced to 25-years imprisonment in February, this year. Wenceslas Munyeshyaka, a former vicar at the Parish of the Holy Family in Kigali, will be tried in France.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe judgment of Father Nsengimana is among three judgements expected before end of the year.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe other defendants who will also know their fate before 31 December are Lieutenant Colonels Ephrem Setako and Tharcisse Muvunyi.
