According to the AFP, he is accused of having thrown a grenade on a crowd of refugees fleeing Kabuye area in 1994, killing several people.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe Prosecutor's decision came as a surprise as a local tribunal ruled in June that there was &quot;no legal basis in Denmark to prosecute foreigners charged with genocide in another country&quot;. This ruling is still under appeal.\n<\/p>\n<p >\nThe defendant arrived in Denmark in 2001. He was living in Roskilde, 30 kms from Copenhagen, at the time of his arrest.
