He said a Memorandum of Understanding would be soon signed and the ACHPR would thereafter start its monitoring of the case for Pastor Jean Uwinkindi.<\/p>\n<p>RWANDA<\/p>\n<p>Court dismissed appeal by Rwandan pastor: The High Court in Kigali Monday dismissed the appeal by Rwandan Pastor Jean Uwinkindi, challenging a lower court decision to deny him bail. Judge Antoine Muhima said Uwinkindi\u2019s appeal request lacked genuine reasons to warrant the bail sought. The court remanded him for 30 days, as he waits his trial to begin. He is charged with genocide and extermination.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NEXT WEEK<\/p>\n<p>ICC<\/p>\n<p>Bemba Defence hearing continues: Presentation of defence witnesses for Jean Piere-Bemba is expected to continue on Monday (October 1).
