For reasons that will be provided, the prosecution will request that the Appeals Chamber reverse and revise upward Thomas Lubanga\u2019s 14-year sentence,\u201d she stated in the notice filed on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Already the defence has also lodged a similar notice to challenge both conviction and the jail term imposed on Lubanga for war crimes.<\/p>\n<p>On March 14, 2012, the Court found Lubanga guilty of war crimes for conscripting and using child soldiers to fight in Ituri (eastern Democratic Republic of Congo) from September 1, 2002 to August 13, 2003.
