15.07.11 - ICC/TRIALS - ICC ON JUDICIARY RECESS UNTIL AUGUST 8

The Hague, July 15, 2011 (FH) - The International Criminal Court has suspended its work until August 8, due to judiciary recess.

Defence of Mathieu Ngudjolo will resume on August 15.

On August 18, the court will start to hear confirmation of charges against Rwandan Callixte Mbarushimana.

Jean-Pierre Mbemba's trial is expected to restart on August 22 with the hearing of the Prosecution 27th's witness.

Last, Thomas Lubanga's trial should come to an end on August 26 after the hearing of closing arguments.
