Bushra Alzoubi

Bushra Alzoubi is a Syrian independent journalist, translator and interpreter based in Paris. From September to December 2025, she conducted investigative journalistic work in Syria, documenting unprecedented public hearings on massacres that took place in March 2025 on the Syrian coast, the environmental damage in Tartous region because of Russia’s presence, as well as the experiences of former female detainees dealing with social stigma. A graduate of Sciences Po, she is also the co-founder and spokesperson of the campaign “Liberté d’agir, droit de revenir”, which advocates for the right of Syrian refugees to participate in the political transition.
