Accused of crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity, Mwitirehe was found guilty of criminal conspiracy; complicity and responsibility in the murder of several people and in several missions in Nyamirambo, in the current cell of Cyivugiza; and inhuman treatment on 30 people, including pregnant women, before killing them, stated the judges ruling of the semi-traditional court.
Before ten damning testimonies, the defendant pleaded not guilty.
In addition to his automatic exclusion from Work of General Interest (WGI), a community work, which was a result of his not guilty plea, the convict will have to pay all the looted goods in question in a later trial.
