Two years after Gambia’s former dictator Yahya Jammeh left power and took asylum in Equatorial Guinea, British freelance photographers Jason Florio, Helen Jones Florio and American Katherine Taylor have compiled dozens of photographs documenting several categories of abuse under the former ruler. On March 7, the pictures were displayed at the first photo exhibition of the Centre for Victims of Human Rights Violations at their headquarters in Kololi, 25 minutes drive from capital Banjul.
